how do i get the door of my pontiac grand am to install speaker?

ok i have just about everything off the door but it seems that (i dont know its technicall term but) the thing that makes the window go up and down seems to be holding it in place and im not sure how to take it off if i should just pull it off or if im supposed to turn it some way and im not interested in buying aniy guides and i dont want to hear just go to the auto shop im not paying 50 bucks to have someone do something that seems so simple

I dont think you can teach a door to install a speaker. From what I understand they are not very smart.

Try finding a guide online, maybe autozone has a guide on their website (I've heard they do) if its a manual window then you should be able to pop part of it off and behind it is a screw and the whole window handle will come off. It's in auto window there's screws holding the whole unit in, you'll have to locate them.

There are pins that pop out of the door. Make sure none of those are holding it on. And the little rods in the door should just pop free, (unhook.)
