underneath the turn signal handle there is another smaller handle. Pull back on it and hold it and then pull sterring weel down, realese the handle to lock wheel in place.
It can be under the steering wheel--I'm used to a lever like a directional, and the small, rectangle button thing. In an '05 Equinox ther is this long wierd thing under the steering wheel on the column. Not like anything I've ever seen.
left side underneath the steering column, below the turn signal. These levers often break off, so look for a small recess in this area, you should be able to reach your finger in there and press the lever to adjust the column.
