My original fob broke a few days ago and my mom grabbed me a new one when she was at ACE, she didn’t have my car with her for them to program it, but the employee assured her we could do it ourselves and there were instructions. Place key in ignition, hold unlock, while holding move key to on then off position twice ending with off in under 8 seconds, release unlock, then supposedly the locks should cycle to signal programming mode, but it does not. I tried for over an hour and am 100% certain I’m following the instructions. I’m pretty sure he gave me the correct fob though as they are completely identical. My car has various weird and random electrical problems (I know unheard of right
) so I’m hoping this isn’t the issue
