First off if you can ,use a compressor and an air blow gun with a good reach tube and tip ,to blow out any dirt or grease or loose rust from around each and every plug and recess (especially if steel insulator tubes are protecting plugs ) This reduces the chance of debris in the threads and falling into the cylinder when plug is removed on any head .
You probably need a metric socket [15mm 6 point deep well] (this works well even on a rusty 5/8 Th's plug, and you can put the rubber cushion that protects the Porcelain of the plug from a 5/8 plug socket into it),definitely some dielectric grease to keep the boots and tip from getting stuck on the plugs .And be sure to thread the plug into the opening before ratcheting it in (to prevent a cross threading /stripping of threads from plug or head .
