How do I replace a parking switch on a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am?

The car will start but the key wont come out. I have a parking switch stuck. The switch detects if the car is in park before it will let me take the key out. sometimes it gets stuck and has to be replaced.How can I do this myself without a mechanic?

If u r sure that is the problem then you need the gear indicator switch under the middles console remove that the rest should be clear.
