...fiero 2m4? i just bought a new 1 but when i took off the old one i didnt see any way to take the plate off the old one so i could put the new one on what should i do?

sounds like they gave the wrong coil they gave you the coil for a HEI Ignition System and yours probably has a • C3I Ignition System that has a externally mounted coil,

if you cant get the rite coil for your car then you can get a mounting bracket from a 89 to 94 ford Taurus from a junk yard that should fit the coil pack you bought, then you will need a welder or someone who can weld, cut the bracket mount off the old coil and weld it to the bracket off the Taurus then get 4 bolts, nuts, lock washers and 8 flat washer, now mount you're new coil to the mount you just made then bolt back to the factory mounting holes from its original location, i would also add a extra ground strap to one of the mounting bolts holding the coil to the bracket, just because you will want to paint the bracket to prevent it from rusting, plus it will look better.

but to make it alot easier, try to find the rite coil pack. it would save you alot of extra work. best of luck
