...am? ok so im askng this for my brother and he has a transam and he cant take the steering wheel off he is sort of cleaning the car up cause its a little older and a mess whats the easiest way to remove it???
depends upon what year... Air bag or not? If no air bag.. just pop off the horn button cover and loosen the steering wheel until flush with the top of the stud, then use a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel... when it pops off it won't hit him in the nose due to the nut still being on the stud, and you won't ruin the threads as well... then remove the puller and take the nut off... steering wheel will lift right off.
