The engine is a 2.0L 122cid L4 MFI. I pryed the cover open and the timing belt doesn't move when cranking, please dont tell me I have to pull the engine
What Cover did you PRY OPEN??BOLTS are used to keep Covers on and prying defeats their purposes.
If the Timing Belt isn't moving, then the problem may not be the Timing Belt yet replacing it is then required.
Could well be a seized Water Pump.
Acquire a Repair Manual or diagnose problems with a QUALIFIED MECHANIC. http://www.pontiacforum.com/pontiac/showthread.php?t=9947
Pulling the Engine may well be the last resort IF such is even needed.
MANY solutions can be applied with the Engine in the car.
