My car stopped working because of this and now my boyfriend is going to fix it, but isn't sure how to. Help please! I need this car fixed in about 2-3 weeks..

Tell him to buy the Chiltons or Haynes repair manual for the car or check your local library. Has he ever done something like this before? It might not be a good idea to have him try and then discover halfway into the job that he cannt do it.
