how do you convert a pull down trunk lock to a manual trunk lock? 91 firebird?

How do you convert the stock 91 firebird pulldown motor trunk lock to a easy manual lock? I also wanna know how to make it work electrically.
 
Just unplug the pulldown when it's down.

That's all there is to it!
