1st part is already done, the belt popped and is laying in the engine bay.

Follow the diagram under the hood, Use a wrench to move the tensioner, place the belt under the tensioner then release it.

Its easy and takes minutes, barely. The big thing to check is all your pulleys, especially the alternator or the idler pulley.

The idler pulley is made of plastic and can wear at an angle on occasion. A few months ago I had this come up on a customer car, and with a new belt on it would attempt to track the belt off. The idler pulley is cheap and you only may need the pulley not the whole assembly.

The other thing is an alternators bearings can seize. Ensure it turns freely a few times on its own when you spin it. Check any other pulley and make sure it turns and isn't chipped.

I've seen ps pumps seize, ac seize, and all kinds of plastic pulleys chip and seperate, so be carefull and good luck
