Looking for as much insight as possible. I'm looking to buy a 72 Lemans Sport Convertible with GTO package and 54000 miles. The thing that worries me is that the original VIN still on the vehicles dash shows that it came with a 350 2BBL. It now has a 455HO with Ram air and all the other GTO goodies. If this was dealer installed as I'm told, wouldn't the VIN change somewhere along the line or some kind of documentation to go with the GTO add-on package? Looking at alot of money but having 2nd thoughts. Whatcha know friends? Thanks

the vin would not change, only documentation would be the bill for the parts and the work. what is the engine code, 2 letters found on front of block on pad below cylinder head? what price are they asking?
