How much do you think a used Pontiac G8 GT (or not GT) would cost?

I just recently got my first job ever! I'd like to save up for a car, and of course , just like everyone has their "main choice" this one is mine!
I'm not an expert on cars. BUT I do know, my sister got a Red Grand Am GT for only 4K!
 
Congratulations on your job, I hope you like it and it works out for you. I would wait a while before considering taking on a car loan of that size. A nice G8 will run about $18,000-$25,000 depending on the year and miles. You might end up working just to make the car payment and have no money left over for things like car repairs and fun...
You could find a very nice Grand Am or Grand Prix for a whole lot less and a lower payment.
Keep in mind that if for some reason you lose your job, the car payment must still be made. The lower the payment the easier it could be to make.
Plus insurance on a G8 will be higher then a Grand Am/Prix.
