how much to paint a firebird?

I was wondering how much it would cost to;
paint racing stripes on a 2001 white firebird,
or how much it would cost to paint the firebird red?

Best bet would be to get quotes from the local body shops - hard to give a valid guess without seeing the vehicle.

That being said - suggest that a complete paint job, with minor body work such as ding removal - plus the cost adder for the color red and a clearcoat cover - thinking in the $3,000 ballpark
