How much will a new fender cost on a 2000 Pontiac Firebird?

I skid on a turn and ran over a small brick fence that caused it to crack on the fender and gave it deep scratches. Would it be necessary to replace the fender entirely or would it be better to try and get it professionally fixed. Could you also add the estimates of cost of parts and labor?
 
A fender is about $170 plus labor, painting, etc. Go to a body shop to see if it can be fixed without replacement.
