how much would a v6 engine swap be for a 94 firebird?

i have a 94 firebird. it has 127k miles on it, my mechanic says that i have a pretty good oil leak other than that the engie is running well. would it be better to replace it or fix the leak? if u suggest replace the engine could u give me some sights where i could look at prices. thanks so much

replacing an engine can be anywhere from $500-2000 in labor costs, depending on where you go. I would just fix the leak, unless the cost is too high. If you plan on keeping the car and really want another engine, then go for it. For sites, just use a search engine or www.car-part.com.
