how much would it coast to rebuild a 2000 pontiac sunfire gt engine?

check with local shops but it will set you back a few grand and you may be better off just buying a newer car

I explored this route once, a local shop quoted me $1800 to rebiuld a 2.2L (the guy even joked at the fact that a Chev 350 V8 only cost $1500 to rebiuld)

i dont know where you live but in ontario i can get a new engine for 2500
