Hello. Well, I dont know much about car's at all. However I do know what I think looks cool :D

And that is a firebird.

So what I am wondering is how much would it cost to buy one? or would it be cheaper to buy a cruddy beat down firebird and build it up.

What I was looking at was somewhere in the 1990s . So I'm looking for a Firebird that basicly kicks ass. LOL Idk what to say, "v8 twin turbo..." lmao idk what that even is xD

But lets say, able to do anything from outrun the cops to doughtnuts in the wal-mart parking lot. LOL

I am cerious how much its gonna cost roughly minium and max, Don't tell me "well you could spend 1million bucks on it if you wanted.." I'm not gonna have platium rims and diamons for headlights... REasonable please?

Thanks people.

~On a side note, anyone know what insurrance would be like? I'm a 16 year old with bad grades and failed drivers ed. [did fine on drives, just my notes sucked] :]
OH and what do you guys think...? Firebird vs Camaro?

Also anyone who gives me a answer, please dont use car talk. Act like your talking to a complete retard. Hell you are :D

for car insurance you have to ask an insurance agent or go to a insurance company web site. If you mean by a beast, 500HP figure around 20K. Your insurance will be easily be over 1k a year.

LOL... well any third gen 82-92 Firebird would be the least expensive to purchace ..and they are respectable driving cars although Not too powerful with most having a 305 ci engine..
but they can be made to look cool and will still get decent mileage and performance when you stand on the gas ..
the other option would be a 93-97 Firebird they are available with either a V/6 or V/8engine the V/8 being a 350ci high output engine which when driven properly will still give decent mileage and performance ..
as fore insurence they are going to be more expensive then average because of the type of car ..
so i would check with your local agent like said ..
