How much would it cost to paint a 1997 Pontiac sunfire?

I have a 1997 Pontiac sunfire that I would like to get painted. I'm thinking of just a solid color. I was wondering if it is worth going to MAACO. I've heard good and bad things. I don't necessarily need the highest quality job, I simply want a new color, but not a huge price tag.
 
It depends on how much you are willing to pay for a correctly done job. On the bottom is MAACO where they just mask everything off and spray with a inexpensive paint and then you move up to where the shop removes components to properly paint the car. If you are changing colors it gets more expensive. It also various across the country so you will have to take the car to various shops and get estimates.
 
Someone told me i you ask them to use an outdated or older paint (don't know what that means) it would be cheaper.
