got the new stereo, already got the scoche harnesses adapter, ive hooked them up color to color (yea i did cut the rca's) but no sound. then i hooked up back the rca's still no sound. so my guess is that it got an amp, which i need to bypass.thank ahead :)
its not a custom amp(sorry about that) it is a factory amp. i did cut the rca because the guy said that if you dont have an amp then you cut the wires, well i didnt had enought information about all that so i did cut em. plz help

why did you cut your rca's? You dont have enough information of what you're trying to do, or rather your question is fragmented. Your question says bypass custom amp, WTF does that mean? If you have an aftermarket stereo and are hooking up to your factory amp, you need a bypass module between your factory amp and aftermarket deck. I've been doing car audio for over 10 years and cant make heads or tails of your question thus the reason I'm sure no one else has answered. Please edit your question and all you need to say is what components you bought e.i deck or amp or both. With that info an install method can be given to you. In absolutely NO application would you cut rca's.
