How to get the antenna down on my 1992 Pontiac Firebird 3.1...

...V6? I have a 1992 Pontiac Firebird and the automatic antenna will not go down. Also if i unplug the fuse then i don't have my cigarette lighter, I need to use it to charge my GPS when i drive. Could anybody either tell how or give me some suggestions on what i should do with it. I want to access the motor just to shut it off but i don't know were it is please help.

The motor is in the fenderwell, you have to take the inner wheelwell off to access it you would probably be best off just unpluging it if it is stuck in the up position (the inner liner) that makes it go up and down is probably broken.
you could either replace it with a standard mast assembly from another car or get a new aftermarket one (power)..
the fixed mast would be easier ..
