how to program my fob in my 08 pontiac grand prix?

i bought this car on mon this week, and the fob didnt work, the dealer ordered me another, and today they said it would be a couple days before they could do it, ITS NOT HARD IS IT?
 
Did you look in the owners manual?
 
They are much cheaper online! Then Google for auto locksmiths in your area. I found a local guy that only charged $30 for programming. It took him about 10 minutes. In all, the dealer wanted $195 and I got it done for under $65. It's not something you can do yourself.
