I have a 1972 Lemans and I'm wondering if anyone could help me in figuring out how to remove the rear board under the rear window behind the rear seats where the speakers are mounted. I'm looking to get it wrapped or painted.
It isn't clear to me how it if it can be removed.
Yeah, I've completely redone 2 70s interior. The bottom of the back seat is harder, held in by 2 brackets, push back on them, while pushing upward to release, and hard! Then 2 bolts hold the upper seat on the bottom. Remove those, pull bottom of the seat outward a bit, pushing upward, and the back of the seat will pop out. The removal of the shelf is easy from there. Don't brake the little plastic trim pieces on the back corners like I seem to always do!
