how to replace a 1996 pontiac grand am se window motor?

Here is as far as i have gotten with it.
i took off the door panel and drilled out the rivets holding the motor in. after taking the motor and regulator out i then drilled out the rivets connecting the motor and regulator AND THEN the regulator seemed to snap shut. i relized it was a spring but after connecting the new motor i could figure out how to reset the spring.
Any help tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks

you can always remove the other side to se how it is suppose to go back in
