Well it's not really hard to do just buy a special socket and sensor from the parts stores like Advance Auto, unplug the sensor and use a ratchet to remove the sensor then reverse the steps.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way it might be a great idea to buy a Hayne's service manual for that vehicle and call around for that part remember it's best to get the orginal part too.

My sensor light is on because I used some stop leak and the sensor is gummed up. Looking in the GM manual you can see the sensor is held in place at the top of the radiator by a spring like clip. If it is just gummed up you might just remove it and clean it off. I will wait till warmer weather to play with mine.
