You do know that the GTs changed drastically in 1986 (new body style) and 1987 (Getrag 5 Speed transaxle) don't you?
I will recommend that you go to the yahoo group for Fieros at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FIERO/.
They can tell you if there are any groups in your area and may know of good cars there.
You can also check on ebay where a lot of Fieros show up. In the advanced search, you can set a distance from your location as a criteria for the search.
I also recommend going to Paul Vargyas's web page at http://home.xnet.com/~paulv/. He has a good list of values and differences between the models. He lives outside of Chicago and sometimes has cars for sale but not at the moment.

Yes I have 1985 GT,White /Grey interior/never winter driven,has a/c,pl/pw,super chipped/new front brakes /repainted 15 years ago/still looks great.has had all GM recalls/180,000kms.like to get 6500.00 Canadian. If wanted I can send pictures.
