Hey, I bent my Lower Control Arm pretty badly :(, and now I can't manage to get the ball joint loose to put on my new control arm . What should I do? It's bent clockwise maybe 5 or 7 degrees and it isn't budging. I have the other two bolts holding it to the crossmember out already, and i have the nut completely loose off the ball joint bolt. The car's in my driveway, and my one friend told me about something called a pickle flipper that can usually work it . But I can't get to an Advanced Auto Parts or anything to get the tool, nor do I have one :(. I tried smacking the hell out of it with a Maul, a Mini-Sledge, AND a hammer :D. But nothing seems to budge it . I think the fact that it's bent is what's keeping it from banging out. Because the guy the junk yard that I got the new control arm off of just smacked it maybe five or ten times with his mini sledge and it popped off . I've been hitting this thing for literally an hour. So PLEASE. If anyone knows any way to get this done, let me know.
:o
Thanks.

New problem.

Ok. got the part replaced but I can't get it to bolt in because if the ball joint bolt is in the one crossmember bolt won't fit, but vice versa as well. HELP lol.
