i have 95 pontiac sunfire. electrical problems?

i have had all lights changed in front and back of car except for the front turn signal lights. and now the light on the roof in the car wiill turn on and off randomly. it will do it all night. so i took it out. but i was just wondering if there was a way that i could fix it. and would it pass inspection in PA with that problem.

the only thing i can think of it you have it on...
when you close the door there is a switch to tell the light the door is shut...
this switch might be bad and turn the light on and off
it just a thought but thats what i think
plus you dont have to have a interior light to pass inspection

If you are talking about the interior light, I can see no reason why it would not pass any state inspection without it working. I hope I am thinking of the same light you are refering to.
