transmisson in it? the automatic transmission is alright but i really dont like an automatic and i've put a manual transmisson in a truck before that had an automatic in it but it was like an 86 or something i just dont know if it could be done in a newer model because of the computer
thats what we did with the truck except we bought a OEM replacement floorpan for the shifter to go through

it can be done but youd want to swap the computer too and like yer truck its still kinda a hassle

its not worth the time ,effort and money involved....sell it and go buy a car with a manual trans....

anything is possible...
find a early 90s model sunbird or cavalier with a manual tranny in a junk yard somewhere, buy the tranny, slave cylinder, flywheel, brake pedal and clutch pedal, then you buy a clutch kit and a case of beer and get to turning some wrenches.....

you will have to cut out the floor to fit the shifter in, but other than that and the clutch pedal, everything should be pretty much a direct bolt on

you can get the computer "flashed" to the VIN of the car in the junk yard and that would solve your computer problems...
you can find them for sale on ebay fairly cheap, and you give the store your VIN (the junker car's VIN) and they will "flash" it for you
