I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix and I am having some problems with my air

conditioner...? When I first start my car the AC works fine. Then after about 5 min or so, it starts to go out. The exterior temperature display on the dashboard starts to drop and once the temp shows that it is below 37degrees the AC stops working. Any ideas?

why do you think your ac would work below 37 degrees?
