i have a 2001 Pontiac grand am and my cigarette lighter will not work any idea on where the...

...fuse is? i have looked in the owners manual and i can not find it or even where it is, i dont smoke but for my car charger for my cell phone i need it to work.. any ideas?
i looked in the key on the thing that covers the fuses and i still can not figure out which one is to my lighter..

I had the same issue and I ended up pulling off the cover to the radio/temp control and hard wiring it to one of the fuses for the radio. That is a suggestion if you really need it, it only took about 2 1/2 hours for everything.

the fuse is under the hood behind the wheel wheel in the fuse box I believe

it usually is the fuse

i had the same problem it should be with the fuses in the panel in the drivers door. i checked the fuse n thats what my problem was.
