my check engine light came on and my friend hooked up his diagnostic machine to it and it read that the problem is "Evaporation". Does that mean it is coming from the fuel tank and has something to do with the new fuel pump?
a fuel system is a closed system,,,sealed ,,,usually a tank,,hose to engine and sometime a return hose to tank,,,,most also have a canaster to collect fumes and return them to tank,,,,some where theres a leak,,,start by looking at gas cap...unless you are a mechanic chaseing down the problem is next to impossible,,
1 start with your shop manual,,,even if you dont work on it yourself,,,it makes you way smarter about how your car workks
