I just had an oil change and a tune-up..It has been making this sound for years..

sounds like your tappets if its a ticking noise, check your oil level, if it gets low they will start to tick. if it is low just add some oil to get it to the full mark and the ticking will go away.

Change oil.You could need a valve adjustment.

In addition to that....What if it doesnt stop after you add more oil? My car made the same sound, the timing gear went out and was replaced the noise stopped for a while then started back up, im trying to figure out if my timing gear is gonna fail again cause weve already replaced twice now.
