...tensioner needs to be replaced? It was knocking really loud in the front end, I just had the water pump replaced 2 days ago and at that time my mechanic told me that the timing chain tensioner needed to be replaced, my car completely shut off as I was driving down the road yesterday and I had to have it towed home. I was just wondering if this issue will cause the loud knocking sound and if it will also cause the car to completely shut down?
