I have a 2003 Pontiac sunfire and there are headlights that stay on in the daytime...

You don't. There daytime driving lights. There on for you and other peoples safety.

My car is the same way.. someone once told me to put the parking brake on and then click your light switch to off and then undo the brake... or something like that.
