...put subs in my car... can anyone help? ok so basically i want a custom head unit but i dont know much about head units... they control the sound system in the car obvoiusly at the front of the car... like all the knobs for sound and track and what not... whats a good head unit for the grand am.. also a site to some good subs would be nice

and put in the specs of your vehicle. It will tell you which head units are suited to fit in your vehicle.

A head unit is the central control unit of your system, and it will also send more wattage to your stock speakers, giving you crisper sound with less distortion.

Also, what are you planning on listening from, (CD's, Ipod, radio)?
