i have a 92 pontiac grand prix that is overloading it,s self with gas would like to...

...know why? 92grand prix run.s but it keeps overloading it.s self with gas and stalls out but if you let it set for about 12 hours it will start

float in carb. stuck , or gas & air mixture settings on carb. need adjustment...

Could be your carbeurator float is stuck, or needs to be rebuilt completely. Check the gaskets and lines leading to fuel pump for leaks. Also check your inline fuel filter(s)& replace them if needed. I'm betting your float is stuck in the carb!
