I have a 95 Pontiac grand am and I was wondering if any one out there has swapped a 4cyl to a 6cyl...

...engine.? I was wondering would the engine sub frame from a car with the v6 of the same year model bolt to frame of the 95 grand am that I have. I was thinking of buying a wrecked vehichle to do this.

It can be done but WHY....
you would have to change the front cradle with all the engine/transaxle wireing and everything including the wireing harness for the interior as they are different from the 4 cyl to a V6
you would be ahead by just buying a V6 equipped car ...
