I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Am and it keeps overheating.The thermostat & water pump are new what is...

...the matter? V6 3400 Engine Radiator was flushed and cleaned

most probable is that the engine is air bound...open the engine drain and the radiator petcock run the engine while filling it wth fresh water...the air will be forced out ...this you will hear...then fill with coolant and water and you are done....about 1/2 hr. work.

I don't think the system is properly bled. There are a couple of bleed screws on the top of the engine and on heater line. When filled, they must be opened to get rid of all air. The only other thing to check is if the fan is working properly.
