I have a 99 pontiac sunfire and its leaking coolant?

someone told me that it's my water pump gasket , and that when my car is on it slowly drips. They said I probably have about a week to drive it and that I really need to get it fixed. Does anyone know how long that takes and about how much it would cost?

That is always a difficult question, as no machine is DESIGNED to fail (leak) with certain time frame.

As for the cost, that also depends on where you go (dealer, indy shop, etc.).
