It should not have one ..
the late 90s GM cars some had maintenence free transmissions (not serviceable by the owners) it may have a cap on the top of the trans by the exhaust crossover (small red cap with "trans fluid" on it..

I agree. I have a '99 grand am and there is no dipstick.

My 99 grand am sat for two yrs while I was in the military and alls i did when that happened was put a qt of trans fluid in it and ran it hard for three days and it fixed itself
