pontiac sunfire for some time now.? I live in New York, very cold right now. been having a problem with my 2000 pontiac sunfire for some time now. went to go to work today and it didnt want to start. It turns over but wont start. A few weeks back i took my car to get the codes on the ecu, I have a problem with an EVAP canister and a misfire on cylinder #2. the misfire is what is causing me too loose hair. haha. but i have eliminated both coils and the spark plug wires. all that remains is the spark plugs and fuel injectors. can someone please help me out? Im out of things to check!
This past fall i replaced the fuel filter and i just dumped a whole bottle of HEET into it as well. The fuel pump is buzzing but im not sure if she is pumping. I also got some of that starting fluid and put a nice jet of it right into the air intake manifold. all it did was backfire. I dont know whats up with it anymore? Maybe the ECU?

have you pulled the #2 plug to look at it? what do you mean you eliminated the coils and wires, does that mean you replaced them? have you done a fuel pressure test?
