• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... ok so there a few things i wanna do i want to change my rear drum breaks in my 1991 firebird because there a pain to replace and there starting to rust. i wanna change them into disk breaks in the back but i cant fine a affordable kit... can i take the axles off and make some on my own for less then $400? and whats a good performance chip thats give me more hp and more mpg at the same time? gas is almost 5 dollars here.

your not going to find a chip that will give you better HP and MPG. Do a complete tuneup and make sure you keep the tires inflated to a least the factory recommended number. How is taking the axles off going to make a disc brake conversion cheaper?
