Good morning, does the ignition coil pack require two or three connections? Is the third connection separate from the wiring harness? 7x crank sensor maybe? 2003 montana. Thanks.

Got it

I found it. Lol. After doing the head, lmi gasket repair, I found there was one cable not conneted to the coils. It was the 7x crank sensor cable that comes up from the block by the front wheel. That was fun connecting that after everything was back together.

Head gasket? Was it a hard job? So I guess u did the intake as well. Any pointers or short cuts?

Head Gasket

It was a 2 day affair.

I am not a mechanic, my uncle is. He started helping half way through.

So, you can ratchet the engine forward to make more space to work. One of the cable for the ignition coils comes from the 7X crank sensor by the front passenger wheel, not in the wiring harness...remember that...LOL.

Other than that, it was pretty straight forward. Some tough nuts on the exhaust cross over that released with some PB Blaster.

There is a large metal mount that attaches to the ac compressor. After all the bolts are released, it sits on a stud by the top of it. Mine was seized solid and we had to beat it with a mallet to release it.

If you are doing it and have questions you can message me here.
