About 6 months ago, I was having problems where my 2001 Grand Am 3.4 would start, i would drive down the road, only to have it die on the side of the road. Before stalling the car would jerk really bad, almost like it doesn't have any gas(but it does). I took it to my local gm dealer, and they replaced the camshaft position sensor, and they replaced it. That fixed it for a day or so, but then it died again, so i took it back and they replaced the ignition control module. My car worked for a couple months then now, just decided to start jerking really bad as i went to excel at a green light, my car didn't die, and i got it home and preformed a couple tests, and i found that the Ignition control module is getting 12V and Ground is getting 12V from the battery. I went to test the camshaft position sensor (required 2 people but I only had me so i couldn't) However I was able to test to see if there was resistance, which there was (went off the charts when on 1K). I think the issue is my Ignition control module, but im not positive, and advice would be greatly appreciated.
