ignition switch

2003 grand am. Looking for manuel or any help in changing ignition switch. I had it almost out bt there is a cable or thick wire that I can't pull out I had the clip pressed in but it seems stuck. Also there are 3 wires with no connector on them?

Thanks Mel but I'm replacing the whole switch. I can get the 2 connections off but there a cable I cant get out I push in the clip but it still seems to be held in somehow. I'm going to try to turn the key maybe that will help. Also there are 3 wires that go inside the the switch not sure how to disconect them. Would appreciate any help.

This helps me if you want to save for someone else. It tells how to remove the park lock cable. The pictures on the link are wrong every time I refresh I get different pics but the directions help.
