I need pics of the manual tranny clutch peddle/cable/hydrolic set up of a 79 trans am. I am currently switching my 79 from a turbo 400 to a Saginaw 4 speed and I have no idea what the original set up should look like. I have a car show for the cancer center at the end of this month that I'd really like to make, but I have no idea where to go from here. The motor and trans are in the car and ready to roll but I'd rather not start cutting and grinding without knowing that it'll be right. Pretty much any pics from roughly that year will do, Camaro set ups will do also, aftermarket, original, it doesn't really matter, I just need some kind or guidance if you will. Thank you so much in advance.

that is a little puzzling question, if you want the stock set up it wasnt hydraulic and it wasnt cable. You have a ball stud on the block, you have a bracket on the frame and a Z bar between them. The clutch pedal rod attaches to the Z bar and then the clutch fork linkage also attaches to the Z bar. The factory Chasis Service Manual would have diagrams. You can get that and maybe all the parts at www.amesperf.com
