im in the middle of changing the intake gaskets and i can not for the life of me get the alternator bracket off. i took off the bolt on the top of the bracket and the 3 on the side by the pullies and it will not budge. am i missing a bolt somewhere ? i felt around and couldnt feel any more and ive tapped on it with a hammer and it will not budge. what gives ?

Not sure if this is clear enough. Have you already removed the upper intake? It sometimes allows easier access to the alternator and that bolt on the back.

The bolt You're missing is underneath the tensionaer pulley ,,,,,,,get a 15mm socket and remove that pulley and You'll find the last bolt holding the alt bracket and the engine lifting bracket .
