Instrument Cluster Question - warning lights

On the 84 Firebird instrument cluster Ive only got 3 idiot lights working... Brake, seat belts, and clutch.

What are the 4 lights on the volts gage cluster? What are the 4 lights on the fuel gage cluster?

I was under the impression these 80s cars needed the charge warning light to excite the alternator circuitry.
