melsg5 it is a 1990 and I do not have the owners manual.I'll find one online and download it.
Doug in P.R. thanks for the link but all it ended up doing was telling me to do was refer to my operators manual or remove the bulbs and look on them.
Either way Doug you are correct the larger ones are 194,the smaller ones I found out to be 2721.Oreilly's carries both under p# 2721mf(small one) and pc194(large one). Also it looks like sockets that you can remove and replace just the bulbs in can be found on Ebay.
I wanna tear down my gauge cluster and unorange it. Also wanna go LED. Anybody been in the cluster deep enough to know if I can just yank the orange tint layer or rings or whatever is in there? If I ever get to go full hotrod on it I'm gonna do new gauges and some kind of custom panel.
TM, I dont know why its orange or red ( bulbs are clear) but the whole cluster comes out and all electrical in one central plug in. I only worked on mine from the back side , dont remember if the clear plastic is removable from the front or not . It may be glued on , since the whole unit can taken out and replaced quickly with a whole other one.
